Hi guys, it's me!!! :)
Ok, first, to start off, I really miss you guys! Maybe things wouldn't change (and I wouldn't change) if we had been together right from the start! or maybe things could take a turn for the worse... I don't know and I wouldn't know... Ok, anyway, I'm glad that everyone's doing okay! Live in the moment, right? :) (ok, so maybe, I don't mind the way things are now...)
Anyway, a few days ago, I was mocking at Carissa, who was having Chinese lessons in school,
while I had Marking Days, enjoying myself, obviously... ^^
so i guess now I'm having my fair share of dreary Chinese lessons and dreading paper checks (urgh...)
Ok guys, before you read this, let me give you a fair warning:
1. The content that follows is depressing (say thanks to Carissa!)
2. I’m not a good writer so the following is probably more like a grousing session (to me)
3. There’s an abrupt ending. (I actually have more to write, but am too lazy to continue…)
I can't believe we're graduating from High School in less than two weeks' time too!
It seems like only yesterday we all went our separate way and I was heart-torn, about us having to go to different schools
It feels like only yesterday when I walked into school and said I can't wait till I get out of here
But like, Bam! This journey is soon coming to an end, (too soon for my liking actually).
These days many a times, I find myself imagining what it will be like, to walk down the aisle with four years all rolled up in a scroll, thinking, “Hey, where did all the time go?” (I have no idea…)
(I’ve actually been pondering over the following for quite some time…)
I realized that graduations, or whatever similar, are markers of our life. They are about closing a chapter in our life and embarking on a new journey. This whole ritual thingy is never easy, because it is about holding on, leaving behind and letting go. But the thing is: what do we take with us, what do we leave behind and what do we let go? (I guess I haven’t really figured out this part yet, and I doubt any of us (Carissa and I, for that matter) have for otherwise, we wouldn’t be lost souls wandering aimlessly…
But people say that we will just know when the time comes, so maybe we should let nature take its course...
(Oh man, it’s so Zen-crappy! (>.< Omigosh, you know what, I think I’m brilliant for this brilliant idea!
Ok, maybe this will be my plan… (at least for now, maybe until end of higher chinese O-lvl )
And I feel like I’ve changed…
Ok, anyway, ciao! I’m tired!
